There's surely something here like come on, those 4 long shapes (like all the critters paths) + the flowers make hearts when touched (also like critters). I've tried everything, am almost certain that there's still something hidden here... A real mystery!
Ha! Took me a minuet to figure out what the secret room meant... brilliant! Truly a great game. At first, I was put off by its (deceptive) simplicity, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon this little gem. I love the simplistic style of this game; it can be hard to pull that off without sacrificing understandability and stuff but sourencho pulls it off prefectly!
that was really creative, i enjoyed it a lot! it was especially cool to combine into chimeras and the lizard thing! definitely a pretty unique function :D
Ran through this game a few times and I can say without a doubt: it needs to be longer!
The mechanics of the game feel like a very simple idea at first: move in the pattern of an animal on the screen to change into that animal. With this in mind, you'd think you're the only one that can actually use that mechanic, but you quickly find out that other animals can do what you do, lending multiple of their terrain abilities to you at once! Mixed in with the fact that there are 5 types of animals, 6 different terrains, and a very easy to medium difficulty of gameplay in this version of the game, and you have yourself a very well-thought out puzzler. The part that makes this game just leave a desire for more is the ending where (***SPOILER***) you end up splitting into two at the last level. Not to mention that there's a secret dev room that teaches you the mechanics without directly teaching you the mechanics! (***END SPOILER***)
I couldn't find any glitches or bugs through my playthroughs, but I could see some possibly happening with the lizard in the last couple of levels.
All in all, this is possibly one of the better puzzlers I've played in terms of mechanics, difficulty, and enjoyment in a while, and I'm hoping that the dev will consider releasing a second game or extending this one!

Maybe one day I’ll make a more extended non-pico8 version of the game with undo and a deeper exploration of the mechanics :)
Nice game, it's a pretty clever idea. It needs a level select screen though, so you can try to find the ?? level without having to reset the entire game.
Also why are the "start(10)" and "thank you for playing" texts so dark? You can hardly see them

its a great game, my only problem is that im stuck on level 10. i cant figure it out but its a great game, 9/10
